Nigerians have taken the news with mixed feelings as photos from the meeting, portraits a very happy Bishop David Oyedepo.
The cleric has been a strong opposition to President Muhammadu Buhari’s government especially after the spate of killings by Fulani Herdsmen increaded.
Reacting, some were of the view that they were proud of Oyedepo for not pretending about his political affiliation, others just bashed the clergy for his stand.

That Bishop Oyedepo mediated between @atiku and Obj does not mean he endorsed Atiku. Bishop is a Christian & followed the scripture: "BLESSED are the PEACE MAKERS"

Bishop Oyedepo is sitting beside a Fulani that understands what inclusive governance means, can create jobs, shuns nepotism and will not divide his country into 97% v 5%. Even me will sit beside him. https://t.co/XpvDevJYlY

Bishop Oyedepo once said that if you see a Fulani man near your house, you should shoot him….. Today, he saw a Fulani man, showed his 32 to him, hugged him and then had lunch with him. Hiohiohiohiohio.

Atiku, Obj, Oyedepo, Gumi, TY and all the so called owners of Nigeria are coming together means only one thing~ Buhari is on the right path. These folks never cared about the poor, never. They've been tested long ago and they failed woefully. #Buhari is all we know and support.
